Heart to Heart

Pretty hearts for your Valentine’s Day, wedding and anniversary projects. Also lovely for any day you just want to make a heartfelt statement on a quilt, jacket, tote bag, tea towel, or T-shirt. 😉 This set consists of eight different appliqué hearts in two sizes each – they fit in the 4×4 and 5×7 hoops. The plain heart is also included in a “tiny” size!

NOTE – One of the hearts in this set is a simple bean stitch design with a pretty rose outline in the center; it is perfect for use with felt or other non-raveling appliqué fabrics. Two of the hearts in this set are stippled (one has a satin stitch edging and the other has a blanket stitch finished edge). Both stippled hearts have an extra outline stitching which is slightly smaller than the outline for the appliqué fabric; this extra stitching allows you to add batting underneath the appliqué fabric!
