Bonbon Purses

These petite lined purses are perfect for wee girly girls! It’s easy to personalize the flaps with monograms or little embroidery designs of your choice. Each purse flap is created in the hoop and then added to the purse with very simple steps on your sewing machine. (A PDF pattern for the purse body is provided.) Each flap design is approximately 3.9″ x 3.9″. The finished purses are approximately 5″ x 5″ in size.

There are six different purse flap designs, each with two versions – one with a buttonhole closure and one with a hook and loop tape closure. The hook tape is applied in the hoop as well and is hidden under the flap. Of course, you may choose to skip the buttonhole or hook and loop tape and sew on a snap or a ribbon tie!

ByAnnie‘s “Soft and Stable” provides the soft sturdiness of the purses and is very easy to sew and embroider with. Package strapping, covered by ribbon or fabric, makes great handles!  Covered cord, purchased home decor cord or ribbons also make good handles.
