Crinoline Belles

Reminiscent of days gone by, these vintage-styled crinoline lady designs are sure to sweeten any project you apply them to – quilts, totes, wearables, table linens and home décor! Simple bean stitch outlines with a few candlewick details mimic hand embroidery.

This set contains a total of 27 machine embroidery designs. For size information, see DETAILS below. There are six fancily dressed ladies in two sizes each, six coordinating curved border pieces, one longer daisy border (not curved), two baskets, and three oval-shaped frame designs (daisy wreath, rose wreath, and oval scalloped frame) in two sizes each.

Combine three or more of the border pieces to create a longer border to go across the end of a pillowcase or tea towel below your belles! The 5×7 belles will fit inside the 8×12 floral wreath designs. The 6×10 belles will fit inside the 9.5×14 floral wreaths designs. The large scalloped frame will hold either of the 8×12 floral wreaths AND a 5×7 Crinoline Belle. Or you can frame just a belle – the 5×7 one fits nicely in the smaller scalloped frame and the 6×10 one in the larger scalloped frame. This frame can be used to make a free-standing, finished edge doily in the hoop. Instructions to do so are included!

NOTE – The two coasters shown featuring the flower basket designs from this collection were made using frame designs from the Frame It set. The pink edged cutwork shown on one of the tea towels is from the Scallop Cutwork Borders set.
