This great big set of elegant floral designs is incredibly versatile: There are horizontal and vertical borders, square frames, pieces with lacy background detailing, and two bodice insets—28 designs in all. Use these designs to wrap around cuffs, across a jacket yoke back, down the center placket of a blouse or across a waistband. Combine the vertical borders with the horizontal borders to create stunning layouts of your own design!

The following hoop sizes are required: 4×4, 5×7, a hoop that is at least 10″ in length (such as a 6×10 hoop), 9.5 x 9.5, and a hoop that is at least 12″ in length (such as 8×12). For specific design size information, see DETAILS below.

Note – These designs coordinate with the May Hope Rise designs! They also match the Fiori Teapot applique. 

The frame designs are perfect for showcasing a 4×4 design, monogram or applique lettering such as our Curly Applique Alphabet. The frame design with the cut-out center can be made into a beautiful photo frame as shown. (Blog post coming soon!) Any of the horizontal borders work great with the Tea Towel Cutwork Hems as you can see with our delicate damask dresser scarf – so sweet! The 5×7 borders will fit nicely onto the large Haute Pads, and the 4×4 borders can be combined to make pretty arrangements in the 6×6 square designs from Frame It! 

The table runner shown in the last four photos uses one of the square frame designs from this set to frame the Fiori Teapot and teapot in the Flowers Tea Set. The fancy napkin in the napkin holder is embroidered with a monogram from Fiori Script and a single bumblebee from Queen Bee.

In addition to the 28 designs, the zip file download contains a PDF with color charts and suggestions for fabric & stabilizer. Design templates to print are also provided.

  • The horizontal borders are less than 2″ wide and are 3.86″, 6.98″, 10″ and 11.72″ long—except for the horizontal row of flowers which is 2.98” x 6.96”.
  • The narrow vertical borders are roughly 1″ wide and are approximately 3.5″, 7″ and 9.5″ long.
  • The wide vertical borders are 1.70″ wide and are 3.52″, 3.86″, 6.74″ and 9.54″ long.
  • The frames are 9.41″ x 9.41″ (with lace background) and 8.99″ x 9″ (without lace background).
  • The lace bodice insets are 4.98″ x 4.05″ and 5.07″ x 7″.
  • The narrow lace pieces are 1.31″ wide and are 3.84″, 7″ and 10″ long.
  • The wide lace pieces are 2.26″ wide and are 3.83″, 7″ and 10″ long.
  • The single stem flowers range from 0.85″ to 1.67″ wide and from 1.20″ to 2.96″ tall.
