This design is 5.05” x 5.59″ and has some applique parts, but it may ALSO be sewn without any applique fabric if you prefer: When embroidering the design on white, off-white, light beige or very pale gray fabric, you may choose to skip the applique portions (stitch sequences 1 – 8). Keep in mind that if you do skip the appliqué, the background fabric will show through the detailing on the roof, building, door, windows, and sign – as you can see on the sample pillow.
