This Sugarplum Fairy doll is part of The Charming Collection. The doll’s body and outfit (including her wings and wee crown) are all made in the hoop, and then you finish constructing the doll with a few bits of pipe cleaner, wool roving or mohair yarn, and some fabric glue! The step-by-step PDF instructions include lots of photos and are very easy to follow.
All 5 designs in this set are sized for the 4×4 hoop. The largest design (the doll’s body & head) is 3.41″ x 3.77″.
NOTE – Wool/rayon blend felt is recommended for the Sugarplum Fairy’s body and dress. For the overskirt, use illusion bridal tulle, craft tulle, or sparkle illusion tulle. For the wings, you’ll want a stiff, sheer fabric such as silk organza, heavyweight polyester organza, or sparkle tulle.
