Make a Jazzy Jacket for a special little one! This sweet, simple jacket pattern looks great made up in quilted fabrics, fleece or felted wool. Its plain front and back are great for further embellishment such as fancy quilting, embroidery, appliqué or other surface ornamentation. Closures can be anything you want them to be — buttons, toggles, ties, snaps or hooks.
This pattern is generously sized. (See DETAILS below.) The ends of the sleeves are turned back on our little model. She has room to grow! The package contains a printed pattern in three sizes and printed instructions. To use this pattern for a little boy, adjust the bell of the sleeve by cutting the pattern straight from armhole to cuff.
✨PLEASE NOTE✨ The sleeve and jacket hems of the sample jackets shown here were created with cutwork embroidery designs from the Medallion Cutwork design collection. Cutwork embroidery designs are not included with this pattern. However, general directions to use your own cutwork designs as border trim are provided with the jacket instructions. The printed fabric jacket was quilted with Baby Lock’s Sashiko machine!

There are three sizes included: Size 1 should fit a 2 to 3 year old. Size 2 should fit a 3 to 4 year old, and size 3 should fit a 4 year or older child. It is highly recommended that you measure your child and adjust the pattern as necessary before cutting out your project fabric.
