“Paper piecing” in the hoop is Easy Piece-y!

This quilt block is pieced in the hoop and is perfect for making mini quilts, wall hangings, pillows, table runners and pockets, and it could also be a great addition to a quilt project you’re already working on! 

There are 5 different heart block sizes (see DETAILS below) and 4 sizes of stippling blocks in case you wish to add stippling right in the hoop as well; the largest stippling block will work for the two largest quilt blocks. Step-by-step illustrated instructions – and the fact that your embroidery machine does nearly all the work for you – make this project fast and fun!

The zip file download contains the following design formats: ART, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, VIP, and VP3. Also included are step-by-step PDF directions for piecing the blocks, as well as some basic sashing instructions in case you wish to sew several stippled blocks together to create a “quilt as you go” project. PDF patterns for the blocks are also provided to aid in cutting out the fabric pieces.
