Snappy Apple

These snappy apples are made completely in the hoop (pieced, quilted and “sewn”) and will stay crisp and pretty all season long! They make great coasters and mug rugs (wouldn’t that be the perfect teacher gift??), but they’re also handy parking places for hot bowls on your table. You can also fill them with scented herbs and make them into sachets, or stuff them with rice or crushed walnut shells for a keep-your-bowl warm mat!

There are 3 sizes of apples – 5″, 6″, and 7.5″. The leaf for each apple stitches separately and is applied during the apple design stitching; each leaf design will fit in a 4×4 hoop.
