This appliqué frame is perfect for quilted projects as it has steps to add stippling during the appliqué process! The stippling is divided into two parts—the inner frame area and the actual frame itself. This allows you to match the stippling thread to the fabrics you use. Instead of a traditional satin stitch edge, this appliqué frame has a blanket stitch edge.
The frame design is sized 9.08″ x 9.07″ and will fit in 9.5 x 9.5 or larger hoops. The interior of the frame measures 5″ x 7″, so you can use this frame to hold designs sized for the 5×7 hoop–such as the Wonderful Time design or one of the 5×7 designs from Fall Fields, as shown on our sample projects. (Option! If you skip the motif detailing immediately within the top and bottom of the frame, the frame will hold designs sized closer to 7″x7″.)
