This appliqué frame is perfect for quilted projects as it has steps to add stippling during the appliqué process! The stippling is divided into two parts—the inner frame area and the actual frame itself. This allows you to match the stippling thread to the fabrics you use. Instead of a traditional satin stitch edge, this appliqué frame has a blanket stitch edge.
The frame design is sized 7.78″ x 10.09″ and will fit in Baby Lock’s 8×12 hoop. The interior of the frame measures 5″ x 7″, so you can use this frame to hold designs sized for the 5×7 hoop… such as the Sage Advice design shown on our sample project!
The zip file download contains the following design formats: ART, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, VIP and VP3. The PDF instructions contain a stitch sequence chart as well as step-by-step directions on how to use this applique frame design with or without batting.
