Scrappy Heart Tutorial

Learn how fun and easy it is to “paper piece” in the hoop! This heart quilt block takes all the angst and fuss right out of paper piecing because your embroidery machine does the hard work for you. All you need to do is follow the numbers, place the fabric bits, and stitch up a masterpiece! Add extra sashing around the finished block, if desired, or embellish with little embroidery designs and quilt as you wish. This design is great for a stand-alone project, but it can also be easily combined with additional blocks for larger projects.

This set includes the Scrappy Heart block design in five sizes — 5”, 6”, 7”, 7.78”, and 8”—plus a plain stippled block design (also in five sizes) to be used if you want to add stippling right in the hoop after you piece the block. PDF step-by-step instructions are included.
