Summer Blooms

Did you know your embroidery machine is also a florist?? These pretty flowers are made almost entirely in the hoop! Each design element is stitched on two layers of silk organza or cotton organdy, OR one layer of silk velvet backed with a layer of silk organza. Then the petals, parts and leaves are cut out and assembled with a few simple hand stitches. (The assembly for the rose takes a little more time than the other blooms, but you can CLICK HERE to watch a helpful how-to video of the rose construction!)

This set includes designs to make 4 blooms: a Daisy, Hydrangea, Rose and Rosebud. The Rosebud in the sample photos is attached to the Rose, but it may also be used on its own.

Use these pretty flowers as corsages or add them to other projects for a lovely “grown in my garden” look! Combine them with the Dogwood, Violets and Pansies from the Spring Blooms collection for a truly eye-catching project!
