Evy’s done it again… she’s let a handful of designs grow into a huge collection!
These beautiful heirloom style designs coordinate with the embroidery on the “Prairie Dress” featured in the Fall 2023 issue of Classic Sewing magazine. A lovely lacy effect is created within the flowers and leaves of these designs—the background fabric will show through those areas.
PLEASE NOTE! These designs are available in sets according to hoop sizes OR as a full collection. The full collection includes designs that will fit the 4×4, 5×7, 6×10, and 9.5×14 hoops. Choose your design size set as well as the format (see options below) before adding this item to your cart. Images of the designs in each size group may be viewed in the photo gallery. Here are the available sets:
• 4×4 designs only – 10 designs
• 4×4, 5×7 & 6×10 designs only – 32 designs
• Full Collection (includes 4×4, 5×7, 6×10, and 9.5×14 designs) – 39 designs
SIZE NOTE – Not all of the 9.5×14 designs require a hoop quite that large; it depends on what hoop sizes are available for your brand of embroidery machine. Within that size group, two designs are closer to 9.5″ x 9.5″, two are closer to 8″ x 8″, and two narrow border designs are approximately 11″ and 12″ long. Just one border design is over 13″ long.
Most of these designs are single color designs that are completed in just one step. The in-the-hoop pocket designs have more than one step, and special instructions are included for those designs. Some of the designs contain a “ladder stitching” sequence that sews separately from the floral motif stitching—in case you wish to make that portion a different color.
In addition to the designs, each zip file download contains a PDF with color charts (where applicable), stabilizer instructions, fabric & thread suggestions, and other helpful tips. Step-by-step instructions for the pocket designs are included as well, except for in the “4×4 only” set which does not contain any pocket designs. Design templates to print are also provided. Note – The templates for two of the extra-large border designs require legal size paper to print.
